What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Recruitment Coordinator position at HARRIS RANCH BEEF COMPANY?
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and is confident as a headhunter. We enjoy working with people who think ‘outside-the-box’ and always interested in process improvement. You will conduct employment related research and assist in the recruitment process through various methods of sourcing and processing qualified candidates. You will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post requisitions through ATS and monitor for aging
- Schedule interviews and phone screens for candidates
- Coordinate various schedules with Candidates and Hiring Managers
- Initiate background checks
- Initiate on-boarding documents
- Process initial pre-employment screening
- Manage candidates through the various hiring stages
- Initiate Adverse Action notices
- Contact candidates and schedule orientations for new hires
- Transition hires from Recruiting to Training Department
- Maintain candidate flow through internal ATS
- Work directly with hiring managers on creating and supporting requisition
- Participate in community outreach activities to generate applicant pipeline
- Collaborate with managers, directors, and VP’s on requisition status
- Conduct New Hire orientations (HR section)
- Accurately document recruitment metrics needed for required weekly reporting
- Additional responsibilities as needed to support the HR department
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiting coordinator or recruiter
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
- Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
- Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
- A BS degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Management or equivalent years of experience.
