Seeking a motivated and energetic professional to join our Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator will perform moderately complex HR-related duties at the corporate level, strengthening our ability to recruit and retain the best people and support key business strategies and initiatives through a proactive human resources agenda. The HumanResources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties and works closely with senior management in supporting designated geographic regions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists in handling all HRIS data entry related to the onboarding and processing of new hire information.
- Assist with employee orientation and various onboarding processes.
- Assists the HR Team with various responsibilities, including but not limited to maintaining and updating Human Resources records and databases, handling compliance items and performing audits to ensure that all required employee data and documentation is collected, processing employee requests regarding Human Resources issues, rules and regulations
- Perform all other duties as assigned, including providing back-up coverage for other Human Resources responsibilities in other regional offices when needed.
- Assist in coordinating events and logistics for firm benefits/wellness initiatives.
- Assist with the recruitment efforts for all levels within the Firm, including placement of job postings, telephone screenings and reference checks.
- Provides support in various day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including assisting in the coordination of various office functions,
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years HR experience including Benefits, Compliance, Recruiting and Onboarding
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Organization skills and the ability to move from one task to another with accuracy and follow through.
- Proficient in MS Suite software
- Experience in a professional services/engineering industry preferred
- Excellent people-skills/team-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable for a fast-paced work environment
- You will be required to work in the Raleigh office every day, with a possibility of moving to a hybrid schedule after six months.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Education:
- BA/BS in Human Resources (preferred) or an associate degree plus additional Human Resources experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a professional environment.
