Job Summary:
The Clinical Manager oversees the clinical operations of Heart of Georgia Hospice to ensure that patient care is provided in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. This role requires a leader who is passionate about patient care, skilled in team management, and committed to fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and collaboration.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the clinical department.
- Provides leadership and direction to the clinical team (Registered Nurses, Certified Nurses Assistants, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of clinical programs and services, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provides education and training to staff members on clinical protocols, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between the clinical team, patients, families, and other healthcare providers to facilitate seamless coordination of care.
- Required to perform supervisory visits to patients’ residence as needed to evaluate the services provided.
- Provides direct patient care as needed and serve as a clinical resource to staff.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Georgia is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in hospice or palliative care.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and stressful situations with compassion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Matrix Care is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:
Office/sedentary and physical patient care (lifting, pulling, etc.) are required for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
