What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prompt Care Orthopedic Technician / Medical Assistant position at Helena Orthopaedic Clinic?
We are seeking an individual that has a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting and has worked directly with patients. This position will work directly with the Prompt Care providers at Helena Orthopaedic Clinic and will manage their patient flow throughout the day. This position requires the employee to work rotating schedules to include Saturdays.
The candidate will have a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. The ideal candidate will also have a strong knowledge of medication management. The candidate has or is able to learn the techniques and equipment used in orthopedic medicine including DME, casting and splinting. The candidate must have the ability to communicate with patients, healthcare providers and coworkers effectively.
The ideal candidate will have orthopedic experience and be certified as a CMA, ATC, CNA or EMT.
Salary will be dependent upon experience and certifications.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient service through effective communication and support during appointments.
- Assist in patient intake and ensure accurate documentation of medical history.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to aid in patient care and treatment.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to medical protocols in a clinical setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and follow-up.
- Educate patients on procedures and provide reassurance throughout their treatment process.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
