Highlights of the Position:
Responsible for supporting areas of finance including, general ledger, month end closing duties, accounts payable/accounts receivable, cost accounting and assisting with budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in month-end quarter-end and year-end closing.
- Post journal entries in the company general ledger accounting software.
- Assists with balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
- Analyzes cash flow.
- Assists and coordinates year end audits.
- Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and compares them to standard costs.
- Analyzes change in inventory levels and assists with quarterly physical inventory.
- Assists in the budget and forecasting of inventory and other balance sheet accounts.
- Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. (GAAP)
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education
Minimum: Knowledge and skills typically acquired through 3 year’s experience in manufacturing accounting/finance.
Preferred: Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
