Pay Range: CLINICAL MANAGER, RN - $63.16 to $101.06
Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Sr. Director of Outpt Srvcs, the RN Clinical Manager in the ACC Perioperative department shares accountability for the management of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, the management of human, fiscal and other resources, the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, unit strategic planning and the fostering of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within Perioperative Services and the organization as a whole. Responsible for providing individualized, goal directed patient care to families and patients at the proficient level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Consistently models excellence in patient care and service excellence and contributes to leadership at a high level of proficiency.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS provider cards
- CNOR preferred
Education:
- BSN prepared or within one (1) year of hire
- Master degree preferred
Experience:
- Five (5) or more years in Surgical Services with progressive management leadership experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- State and federal regulations, including title 22 and all other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage staff through collaborative and positive leadership skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members, hospital staff, physicians and patients.
- Knowledge of supervisory theories, principles, practices, techniques and methods.
Physical Demands - Clerical/Administrative Patient Care:
- Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
