As the Nurse Manager for the 24-bed Medical, Surgical and Telemetry Unit, you will hold 24-hour accountability for the quality of patient care, efficiency of operations, and personnel management. The Medical Surgical unit has a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio, allowing the Registered Nurses to provide exceptional, personalized care. The Medsurg Nurse Manager will strive to achieve the optimal patient experience in a cost-effective manner, while applying evidenced-based leadership and practice.
The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of safe, high-quality patient care consistent with professional standards and hospital policies, while promoting a positive and professional environment, supervising charge nurses and front line staff, maintaining a stable and productive nursing staff, involving staff at all levels in Shared Governance and Magnet Forces initiatives, and making data-driven decisions to continuously improve operations. The Inpatient Nurse Manager will role model performance and behaviors that are consistent with the organization's values, mission, vision and strategic plan.
