Job Overview
The Program Supervisor will assist the Program Manager with program operations management to maintain administrative activities and to support day-to-day tasks related to the program including, but not limited to: staff supervision and support, community engagement and outreach, programmatic data tracking to ensure grant deliverables, administrative support, and additional tasks as related to the program.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager with program coordination and activities.
- Provide daily supervision and support of Patient Navigators.
- Provide patient navigation support for complex patient cases.
- Respond to patients’ complaints, concerns and inquiries, when necessary.
- Participate in community outreach events.
- Assist with maintaining programmatic data for tracking, reporting and compliance.
- Monitor program activities, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend necessary changes to ensure grant deliverables and to support program growth and development.
- Work with the Data Analyst to track and report weekly outreach and referral updates.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and colleagues.
- Possess strong critical-think and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities, and quickly assess complex problems to develop multiple potential solutions.
- Schedule and prepare materials for team meetings and community outreach events.
- Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
- Attend staff/department and external agency meetings.
- Participate in staff training as arranged by the corporation
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare or social services setting required.
- Fluency in a second language (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese) is required.
- Previous supervision experience preferred.
- Ability to speak, write, and read English fluently.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
- Knowledge of community resources available in Los Angeles County.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and patients from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication. Demonstrate good intra- and inter-personal skills, integrity, and professionalism when working with patients, team members, and colleagues. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality with patient information.
- Ability and willingness to work some evening and weekend hours.
- Ability and willingness to travel to different work locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
