JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team. This individual will drive sales initiatives, execute effective business strategies, and build long-lasting relationships with key partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across B2B and retail channels.
- Lead and mentor the sales and customer service teams, fostering collaboration and improving performance.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand market presence.
- Manage monthly community engagement programs to boost brand awareness and strengthen local connections.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key B2B clients, distributors, and retail partners to enhance market reach.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, evaluate competitive dynamics, and seize emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging and maximize brand visibility across platforms.
- Create and oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to track progress and inform decision-making.
- Align with operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Occasionally travel to support tradeshows, attend conferences, and participate in networking events.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (required); Master’s or MBA (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales, marketing, and business development, with a strong B2B focus.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in retail and corporate channels.
- Experienced in running community engagement programs and building impactful B2B partnerships.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot, Pipedrive) and adept at sales forecasting and KPI tracking.
- Extroverted personality with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales training and an understanding of sales culture are essential.
- Ability to travel as needed and must be able to drive.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales is an added advantage.
