Description
An Inventory Specialist assists the Parts department in overseeing and maintaining the store’s supply of inventory. This would include keeping track of inventory, ensuring stock is organized, and assisting in the processing of receiving and delivering.

Essential Duties
- Counts store inventory for official record
- Checks physical inventory against computerized records
- Reports any discrepancies
- Receives store deliveries
- Checking in daily factory orders
- Organizes inventory in stock room
- Restocks merchandise as necessary
- Uses inventory software to keep track of orders, returns, and supply
- Writes up inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items
- Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy
- Assists parts manager in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control
- Maintains warranty parts holding bins
- Maintains warranty parts inventory
- Returning warranty parts to the factory
- Shipping monthly stock returns back to the factory

- Communicates clearly and effectively
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
Excel experience preferred
Schedule
Must have availability Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts
40 hours per week
May work outdoors occasionally in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures including rain, snow, heat and cold.
Stands, sits, bends, stoops, reaches and walks frequently during their shift
May climb stairs occasionally
May lift and carry objects up to 50lbs
Travels throughout the dealership and lots frequently on foot
