PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive all incoming products
- Unload inbound shipments from trucks
- Verify and complete the delivery receipt. Note damaged or shortage on the delivery receipt and have the driver's initials
- Complete all receiving processes in an accurate and efficient manner
- Stock received products to the staging area
- Complete Replenishment Working Order
- Manage stock locations on existing items for correct bin size and location
- Report inventory and damages to the manager
- Keep the location areas organized
- Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner
- Communicate warehouse concerns and safety issues to the warehouse manager
- Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
- Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
- Other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Drug Screening will be REQUIRED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of warehouse experience
