Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and managing third-party contractors or consultants. The IT Project Manager will serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects, aligning projects with needs and requirements, constructing detailed project plans, achieving milestones, and communicating progress to the IT Director and Executive Management Team. The candidate must be highly responsive to priority changes and thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading complex, cross-functional, high-impact technology projects.
Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the IT Director, other team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Initiation :
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with management as well as other staff members.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Resource Management :
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Effectively communicate project expectations to IT Director and Exec Mgmt Team in a timely and clear fashion.
Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
