JOB TITLE: Receptionist / Data Entry
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Support Staff 2
REPORTS TO: Clinical Director
: Standardized reception and switchboard work, but also involves the
handling of emergency situations and problems and data entry.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Greets clients and visitors and routes them to the appropriate office or personnel.
2. May schedule appointments for clients and maintains schedule of
meetings at the center.
3. Answers multi line switchboard rapidly and directs call to destination without delay.
4. Enters data into the computer system from charge tickets and other documents.
5. Takes medication requests and informs pharmacist.
6. Performs other reasonable, related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management, as required.
7. Responsible for the storage and protection of consumer records, including compliance with the Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

1. Ability to meet and work with staff, clients and the general public
2. Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions.
3. Thorough knowledge of the Board’s programs, locations and staff functions.
4. Ability to be calm under pressure, organized and patient.
5. Must demonstrate the ability to work well with staff and clients in a polite, respectful and dignified manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Two years experience in clerical and reception work.
Posses pleasant telephone and greeting mannerism and strong interpersonal skills.
