equipped with a weight room, locker rooms, a group activity room, and comprehensive wellness
services including spa treatments, personal training, and group fitness classes. The pool complex

Position:
Highlands Falls Country Club is pleased to announce a distinguished career opportunity for the
position of Food & Beverage Director. Reporting to the General Manager and working in close
collaboration with the Executive Chef, the Director will be responsible for overseeing Dining Room and
Beverage operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and the maintenance of high
standards. Key responsibilities include monthly reporting, budget oversight, and expense
management. Additionally, the Director will facilitate communication between the General Manager,
House Committee, members, and staff. The Club is open for regular operations from May through
October.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Ensure member satisfaction in the Dining Room through direct supervision and adherence to
staffing excellence while maintaining high service standards.
2. Promote Highlands Falls Country Club to the highest standards, engaging with members, their
guests, staff, and the local community to showcase the club's excellence.
3. Assures that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development
activities for experienced staff are implemented.
4. Recruit, train, and supervise staff, applying relevant training and marketing principles to
consistently surpass the expectations of club members and guests.
5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all safety and sanitation standards are consistently
maintained.
6. Ensure strict adherence to all legal requirements, including wage and hour regulations and
federal, state, and local laws related to alcoholic beverages.
7. Assures that all pre and post shift side work is completed and that dining and service areas
remain clean and organized.
8. Maintain proper beverage inventory levels through regular ordering and monthly accounting.
9. Regular monitoring of the order and receiving program to ensure accurate quantities, pricing,
and quality of all products and supplies.
10. Monitors and adjusts dining room staffing for best member satisfaction while being fiscally
responsible.
11. Manages the F&B Calander by scheduling and organizing Club and private events.
12. Regularly meets with members and staff to develop Banquet Event Orders.
13. Develops wine/spirit lists and bottle/glass sales promotion programs.
14. Plan and implement procedures for special club events and banquet functions.
15. Develop on-going training programs for food service and bar production personnel.
16. Train staff on all aspects of Jonas POS system.
17. Participates in House Committee meetings and weekly senior leadership meetings to provide
insights, collaborate on strategic initiatives, and support decision-making processes.
18. Ensures that all written correspondence, reports, newsletters, and other communications
related to Dining and Club events are completed and distributed in a timely manner.
19. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of hospitality experience in a private club or resort.
Minimum of 2 years management experience required.
An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
An understanding of the H2B process and seasonal workforce is preferred.
Must be well spoken and professional, with a warm inviting presence.
Organized with excellent attention to detail.
Competent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and similar software.
Experience with Jonas Club and software a plus.
