Job Title : Quality Control Manager (for aircraft engine MRO facility)
Employment location : Miami, FL
Principal Responsibilities and Activities :
Employee in this position will be responsible for and / or perform the following tasks :
- Develop and evaluate QA processes, work instructions and procedures to support continuous improvement.
- Review and assist in creating Engine Mini Packs.
- Review ADS
- Create and make changes to Maintenance Forms as required.
- Create and update RSQCM.
- Catalog and track all shop tooling. Keep tooling calibration up to date.
- Lead root cause and corrective action activities on all identified non-conformities.
- Introduce systems to more efficiently control quality of workmanship and business operations.
- Be present as quality manager during customer site visits.
- Keep the facility audit-ready at all times.
- Keep all vendor files up to date.
- Direct the training of new hires to ensure quality procedures and followed.
- Maintain all employee files, including training documents, up to date.
- Establish and maintain best practices in accordance to quality and operations manuals.
