Summary :
The Controller will oversee the financial operations and accounting functions of our orthopedic physician group practice. This position will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing day-to-day financial operations, and providing strategic financial insight to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare finance, with a specific understanding of medical practice accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Reporting & Analysis :
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by the CFO and leadership team
- Monitor and analyze practice revenues, expenses, and other key financial metrics to ensure financial health
- Provide detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and recommendations for improving financial performance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit and / or stand for prolonged periods, work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, and to work both day / evening shifts. Environmental / Working Conditions :
Work is performed in an office environment. Involves frequent personal and telephone contact with patients and with testing sites and surgery departments. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive. Contact involves dealing with injured sick people.
