Qualifications
- 5-7 years advanced HR experience with an emphasis on employee relations and leadership. Responsibilities will range from complex to routine.
- Demonstrated success handling complicated HR matters including conflict resolution, management of leaves, ADA accommodations, administration of benefits & 401K information.
- Must be able to master various HRIS platforms with focus and attention to detail. At least 3-5 different systems will be the foundation of daily functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment law, specifically in Tennessee
- On-site position, requires regular attendance during established business hours which may include weekends and holidays
- This position requires the ability to lead, motivate, advise, and work as a team member to promote a harmonious workplace.
- The current operation is made up of less than 100 employees.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of HR principles and procedures
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques
- HR certification is strongly preferred.
- Group presentation skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
Other Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing
- Valid Tennessee Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for past three years; driver records are checked annually
- Join and attend National and/or local SHRM Chapter meetings.
- Participate in continuing education to keep current with employment laws.
- Certifications and references will be verified
