What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Assistant position at Holiday Health Care?
The Heritage Center at Holiday Health Care is adding a full-time and part-time Activity Assistant to our team! We are looking for individuals who are reliable and have a passion for working with the elderly. An activity assistant will help coordinate and participate in games, bingo, holiday events, special meals, outings, etc. They will keep a daily record of which residents participate in the activity and how they are progressing. At the Heritage Center, we provide social interaction and engagement for a better living experience and quality of life.
Schedule
- Part-Time - 10 hours a week
Qualifications:
- Must possess strong communication and people skills and be proficient using a computer
- Experience working in long-term care preferred
- Must be able to stand/walk at least 85% of your job and be able to carry at least 20 pound or more
