Job Overview
The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage our church office and operations, including internal and external communication, weekly Sunday event management, seasonal event and service planning, volunteer development and coordination, as well as work with diocesan policies and procedures. The role provides administrative leadership by planning, organizing, coordinating and supervising events, hourly staff and volunteers. This person ideally thrives working both independently and collaboratively, and is flexible with shifting priorities.

- Manage and oversee inbound communication in all forms, and much of outgoing communication, including but not limited to:
- Daily phone and email communication
- Weekly minor updates of websites with links to services and sermons
- Organize and update digital and paper files for information retrieval
- Follow up on and response to communication from the C4SO diocese
- Prepare for and attend weekly staff meetings
- Updating and tracking of task software (currently Asana)
- Work with Rector on weekly announcements via Mailchimp
- Work with Rector on weekly liturgy production
- Work with Rector on weekly social media posts
- Personnel Management, including but not limited to:
- Hire and onboard employees, oversee contract creation and renewals, and maintain compliance with human resource procedures and policies
- Must have strong leadership and management skills
- Schedule and oversee staff, ministry teams, and volunteer roles
- Work closely with Rector to recruit and develop volunteer and ministry teams, as well as update manuals and job descriptions
- Event Management and Coordination, including but not limited to:
- Weekly Sunday services (manage workers and volunteers)
- Weekly and monthly after service refreshments or lunches
- Special Seasonal Services (Advent, Christmas, Holy Week, etc.)
- Direct the event set up and communication for newcomers gatherings, retreats, baptisms, confirmations, ordinations, etc.
- Purchase, organize, transport and maintenance of church supplies for services and other events
- Lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds on a routine basis
- Individual must have personal and reliable transportation
- Miscellaneous
- Coordinate and collaborate with Business Administrator: secure weekly tithe, gather employee receipts, review monthly financial reports, and communicate regularly (HR, Payroll, Events, Purchasing, Bill Payment, etc.)
- Coordination and communication with facilities partners (e.g. Watermark Church, Global Christian Relief, etc.)
- Office supply management and ordering
- Other tasks as assigned by Rector
- Relational Skills
- Relate to others with kindness, compassion and patience
- Use discretion with personal and sensitive matters and bring to Rector’s attention those who need pastoral care, as needed
- Maintain confidentiality regarding church finances, parishioner personal information and other sensitive matters
- 40-hours per week (M-Th Sunday responsibilities)
- Minimum 2-3 days in office, otherwise can be remote.
- Minimum Initial Commitment: 2 years
- Holy Trinity is not large enough to have negotiated a health insurance plan, so one should consider whether the salary amount is adequate for the purchase of health care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
