What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at Belamante HS LLC?
The Administrator manages the program and delivers high quality clinical, rehabilitative and culturally competent services focusing on adults diagnosed with mental health disorders. Performs intake interviews/assessments; treatment plan development and implementation; coordinates discharge planning. Develops and maintains good working relationship with resident referral sources and other related substance abuse, mental health and community service programs. Ensures program is in compliance with all agency, clinical, fiscal, DHCS, DSS and licensure requirements.
Duties:
- Ensure the environment is welcoming, positive and friendly for staff and clients.
- Provide direct service as needed and demonstrating clinical expertise for others to emulate.
- Ensure financial and census regulatory goals are met.
- Develop, implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, including resident and employee rights according to agency, state, federal and accreditation standards.
- Ensure individual and group treatment interventions are delivered with clinical excellence and consistent with the facility’s evidence-based model. The focus will be on outcomes and improving resident experience.
- Have an understanding of 12-Step programs
- Conduct annual performance reviews of the supervisory (i.e. Operations Director) and support staff (i.e. Behavioral Health Technicians).
- Interact with marketing and representing the company and its mission with the community.
- Supervise subordinate staff including clinical and administrative staff.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and staff.
- Attend administrative meetings.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in work environment.
- Familiar with community resources.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have Administrator Certification through Social Services. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR/First Aid Certificate required. Must have a current TB Test and a valid state driver’s license. Must be registered with the state agency.
Preferred Qualifications: Holds a bachelor’s degree. Has a minimum of two years' experience in healthcare. Further licensed in related fields.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk intermittently. May be required to lift up to 25lbs. May be required to ascend/descend stairs.
