What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Credit Analyst (On-Site) position at Hometown National Bank?
A successful community bank in LaSalle and Will Counties is looking for a highly motivated individual to become a credit analyst.
The position performs commercial credit analysis by reviewing items including, but not limited to credit reports, personal and business financial statements and tax returns, appraisals, property inspections, and environmental reports to complete loan presentations for approval consideration by the appropriate approval authority. The position prepares and analyzes spreads of a company's financial statements to determine overall credit strengths and weaknesses of commercial credit customers. The analysis includes, but is not limited to debt-service ratio, current assets ratio, leverage ratios, cash flow analysis, and trends. The individual will also prepare annual credit reviews, reports, appraisal evaluations, field audits, know and adhere to rules and regulations, along with various other duties.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. Experience is preferred, but not required. Additional knowledge and skills preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication, effective organizational skills, prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking.
