Qualifications
We are excited for you to join OUR TEAM. Our Clinicians provide therapy to children, families, and adults, by treating a broad range of problems for various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. The therapy shall include assessments, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and case management. It will also include maintaining client records in current and complete status. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position that includes tasks or duties (i.e., driving) that the employer in good faith believes could affect the safety, health or reputation of the Agency, participants, the employee performing the task or others.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Marriage and Family, Psychology, Social Work, or directly related field.
- Arizona Associate Licensure (AzBBHE) as LMSW, LAC, LAAC, LAMFT or a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor is required.
- Experience or knowledge of best practices therapeutic approaches.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, home telephone, and reliable transportation.
- Family therapy knowledge/experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Understanding of and ability to use DSM-IV.
- Willingness to work evenings.
- Demonstrates knowledge of special populations such as substance abuse.
- Demonstrates ability to develop treatment plan and summary based on participants needs.
- Demonstrates ability to distinguish between alcohol and other drug-related symptoms and other pre-existing physical problems or pathologic behaviors.
- Demonstrates ability to understand the biopsychosocial influences and effects of dependencies.
- Demonstrates knowledge of how the acute and chronic nature of the dependence and the ways medical, emotional, behavioral, social, educational and other interventions are used to treat the participant.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
- Must be certified in First Aid and CPR.
- Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Have a Tuberculosis screening test and provide evidence of freedom from infectious tuberculosis prior to providing services and additional TB testing or screening questionnaires will be performed annually.
- Possess the physical, mental, and cognitive ability to perform specific clinical and/or tasks required by the position without posing a direct threat to the safety and security of patients.

Qualifications Preferred:
- Bilingual – English/Spanish.
- Experience working in Integrated Healthcare, Behavioral Health or Primary Care environment.
- Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity.
