The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, enhancement, and design of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting for database
- Management of database administration tools
- Provision of database support for business applications and scheduling of backup jobs for user databases
- Management of database account access and database object changes
- Ensuring monitoring and alerts are properly in place to meet requirements
- Conducting root cause analysis for repeated incidents
- Planning and developing processes for database updates and migrations
- Providing Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery support
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of database architecture and data interfaces
- Proficiency in database security and auditing features
- Experience with heterogeneous database interface deployment
- Ability to provide escalation Level 2 and 3 Technical 24x7 support
