Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced mid-level Database Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Administration: Experience with SQL and relational databases to include MS-SQL Server. Configuring, monitoring and maintaining existing data warehouse and building Power-BI reports as needed. Complex SQL queries, designing DB schemas, and managing stored procedures are highly desirable skills.
- API: Familiarity with third party connectors such as MuleSoft is highly desirable. The ability to work with third party software vendors to create API’s a must.
- User Account Management: Create, modify, and delete user accounts for the LIMS system ensuring appropriate access levels.
- Software Research: Conduct research on software solutions to inform purchasing and licensing decisions.
- Project Management: Assist with project management for future LIMS additions, potential system upgrades, and future system development.
- Security Participation: Engage in network and physical security initiatives, contributing to the overall safety of our IT environment.
- Workplace Security Reviews: Participate in workplace security reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Continuing Education: Participate in continuing education for new technologies, changes to technologies used by, or evaluate use case for Diagnostic Solutions Lab. Make recommendations for or against use based on company growth, process change, efficiency, or financial gain.

This is a 100% on prem position in Alpharetta, GA.
