Job Summary: Tools General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hornady Tools facility, managing staff, overseeing customer service, driving sales, managing budgets, and ensuring overall business functions run smoothly by implementing strategies and policies to achieve company goals; essentially acting as the leader of all aspects of a business at an operational level.

Key responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Overseeing daily operations, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Financial Management: Managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, identifying cost-saving measures, and making strategic financial decisions.
- Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees, addressing performance issues, and maintaining positive employee relations. Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
- Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service standards are met, handling customer complaints, and building positive customer relationships.
- Sales and Marketing: Contributing to sales strategies, promoting products or services, and monitoring market trends.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing short and long-term business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.

Education and Experience:

- Familiarity with manufacture of reloading equipment and participant in hunting and shooting sports helpful.
Physical Requirements: Manufacturing and office environment exposure.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and attending meetings.
- Prolonged periods of standing or walking on manufacturing floor or trade shows.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas.
