Job Title: Energy Star HVAC Admin

Job Description:

An Energy Star HVAC Admin is responsible for collecting data from Houk's system and transferring documentation to cities and energy raters through email.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HVAC design reports that provide detailed information on the energy efficiency of the system, including energy savings estimates, equipment specifications.
• Stay up-to-date on current Energy Star certification requirements, as well as industry trends and best practices related to energy efficiency and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of builder constructions plans is a plus.
• Communicates with General Contractors and Rater administrators about plan specifics and clarifications required.
• Revises HVAC Manual J, S and D loads with minimal deviations to ensure accurate equipment sizing and design.
• Develops a working knowledge of all associated codes and Department of Energy regulations and works with management to comply with any changes to code.
• Takes direction from management regarding priority of work for the day.

The salary for an Energy Star HVAC Design Report Specialist varies based on experience and location. However, the average salary range is between $37000 and $40000 per year.
