JOB TITLE: Sailpoint Engineer/Administrator
JOB TYPE: Contract
JOB PAY RATE: $45-60/hr
JOB LOCATION: Although this allows for no in-person work, all candidates are preferred to be in Michigan
Position Summary
The SailPoint Engineer/Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and expansion of the SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementation at Michigan State University. Work will be a mix of operational work supporting the existing functionality/environment and project work as part of the IAM Modernization Program. Additional tasks will include supporting learning & development of other team members (contract and/or direct hire) in relevant areas.
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong history of working with all aspects of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) including:
o Deployment, patching, and upgrades
o Developing integrations between IIQ and other information systems using both custom and out-of-the-box connectors
o Implementing and maintaining access request, approval, and certification workflows
o Implementing core IAM workflows (e.g. joiner, mover, leaver)
· Strong capability to learn, listen, take direction, ask questions, and follow procedures
· Programming experience, particularly with Java
· Experience designing, building, and interacting with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
· SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or Architect certification desired
Work Location
· Remote – In State preferred

· H1 acceptable
Length of Engagement
· Initially 20 to 30 weeks -- depending on rate -- with possible extension up to 3 year length of IAM Modernization Program based on needs & outcomes
Salary : $45 - $60
