What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Retirement (ITAD) Cleaning / Quality Control position at HTG, Inc.?
Summary/Objective
The ITAD Quality Control position will work under the supervision of the ITAD Life Cycle Manager to process IT assets for resale, refurbishment, or recycling. Responsibilities include but are not limited to verification and cleaning IT equipment, accurately entering inventory in a database. To succeed in this role, the individual should have interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail, as well as the desire to learn about IT equipment.
Essential Functions

- Enter product details and specifications into an inventory database
- Clean refurbished products for remarketing
- Cultivate positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in all department and company policies, procedures and processes.
- Maintain warehouse environment to HTG standards as assigned
- Report consistently and on time to work
- Report on time and consistently to all team meetings
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned

- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills
- General knowledge of consumer electronics (computers, mobile devices, and peripherals) is recommended but not required

Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, standard household cleaning chemicals, air compressors, and box cutters.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience with warehouse safety and OSHA guidelines, regulations
- Extensive work history to demonstrate stability
