Our management, sales and engineering groups, comprise over 150 years of combined experience in the architectural wood door, finishing, and veneer market. PAWP niche is built on our ability to quickly provide any available veneer from well-established veneer suppliers in both domestic and exotic species.

How you will spend your day:
This position conducts inspections to determine quality of raw materials, work in process, and finished products.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, , finished goods.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Write technical reports or documentation, such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses.
- Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
- Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments, vendors, or customers.
- Write or revise standard quality control operating procedures.
- Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
- Perform validations or transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
- Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved.
- Prepare or review required method transfer documentation including technical transfer protocols or reports.
- Participate or lead Root Cause Assessments.
- Maintain and report quality related KPIs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Starting Pay: Negotiable with experience
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum five years of related experience in aspects of the Key Responsibilities listed above, manufacturing, planning, and scheduling is required.
- Proficient with computers using MRP/ERP or similar door manufacturing systems, and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced level Excel is desired.
Language Skills:
- Strong communication skills required. The ability to convey (verbal and written) communications to various levels within the organization. Ability to read, analyze, interpret and investigate documents. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and employees.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to perform task; and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
