Overview
MML Diagnostics Packaging is a small contract manufacturer of medical devices (class 1, class 1 sterile, and class 2), located just outside of Portland, OR. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for conducting day-to-day Quality Control (QC) activities and ensuring that products are manufactured to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, work in progress, and finished products.
- Tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics.
- Evaluates data to determine conformance to or deviations from existing specifications.
- Help verify tools and equipment are within calibration, and document as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within a small company

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
