The floater position provides breaks to the machine operator and inspector/packers and is responsible for sweeping and cleaning the Finishing Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide work breaks for inspector/packers and gluer operators.
* Operates a stretch wrap machine and stage finished goods in warehouse.
* Operate case sealer.
* Keep WIP pushed up to gluer and nester machines in Finishing Department.
* Sweep and Clean work area.
* Operate Forklift as needed.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, lead persons and operators in matters such as, but not limited to safety, quality, production, etc.
* Follow SQF and food safety regulations at all times.
* Perform other tasks as assigned.
