JOB OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility is to provide in-person American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services at least once a month in support of the Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center (NPWRC). These services will be needed to support one employee for our monthly All Hands meetings which last one hour. Also, there may be a need for ASL interpretation services for other large meetings that are not scheduled at this time. Please see Quotation Submission section below for Various meetings at 16 hours per year. NPWRC has an employee that needs the reasonable accommodation of in-person ASL interpretation services during large meetings with many people in a big space like a conference room.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
A. Personnel Administration.
1. The contractor shall make necessary travel arrangements for employees.
2. The contractor shall provide necessary infrastructure to support contract tasks, including access to Microsoft Teams if required.
3. Contract personnel shall maintain certification of, or similar to, National Interpreter Certification or Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
B. Technical Requirements.
1. Describe specific work requirements and/or work products: in-person ASL interpretation services.
2. Criteria for acceptance of Product or Service: If the employee can understand the ASL interpretation services.
C. Deliverables.
1. Characteristics for work product described in II.A.1.: ASL interpretation services.
2. Delivery dates for work/product to be completed and point of delivery: During scheduled monthly All Hands meetings and various meetings at 16 hours per year.
