Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to enhance the overall user experience. This position requires a strong understanding of software quality assurance practices and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Perform thorough QA/QC testing on various platforms including iOS applications.
- Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration between applications.
- Implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using version control systems such as SVN.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software quality assurance processes.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis principles and practices.
- Familiarity with APIs and their testing methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using QA/QC tools for defect tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Node.js is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
