Junior SQL Developer

Overview
We are seeking a Junior SQL Developer to join the ICOMM team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in database management and development, with a focus on creating and optimizing SQL queries to support our data analytics initiatives. This role requires proficiency in various technologies but the focus is on Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS, and query building in general. The Developer will play a crucial role in helping to further automate our application suite and the various processses around it.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other best practices.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Experience

• 2 years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of relational databases.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and queries, and some amount of exposure to Microsoft Azure implementations .
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
