IDEAL interns are provided the opportunity to develop and apply practical skills under the mentorship of subject matter experts in a professional work environment. This includes purposeful connection to intern education and the application of academic theory through relevant, hands-on experience in project management, research, design, data collection and analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement, with a variety of both independent and team-based activities.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will:
- Work directly with IDEAL suppliers, as well as internal cross functional stakeholders to achieve 2023 business initiatives
- Track progress monthly on key performance indicators.
- Assist with projects that contribute to the strategic initiatives of Sourcing and IDEAL.
- Utilize various tools and resources to analyze information and make recommendations to support the business
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing degree in either Supply Chain, Management/Leadership, Finance, Economics
- Excel Skills for data collection, spreadsheet organization and data analysis
- Basic supply chain understanding
- Project management and cross functional collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills for both internal colleagues and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and tasks
