ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Reads and interprets blueprints or specifications manuals for assembly or building operations.
• Fastens or installs piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools or rivet guns.
• Sets up and operates metalworking machines, such as milling or grinding machines to shape or fabricate parts.
• Assemble and install electrical, LED, and other signage components.
• Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
• Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Other duties as required.

TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with operating various hand tools either personally or professionally
• Fluent in English

SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities to meet critical deadlines, as well as working independently.
• Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person.
• Strong work ethic with an enthusiastic, positive attitude, and the highest level of integrity.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May involve some repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts.
• Due to the open environment of the shop, must be able to work in temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.
• May be required to stand for long periods of time.
• The worker is subject to high levels of noise. Hearing protection is recommended and required for certain job functions.
