What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds/Maintenance Technician position at Independence Square Apartments?
Property Management Company is seeking maintenance tech candidates for a beautiful apartment communities located in Clarkston, MI.
What criteria are needed for the position:
Able to take on call emergencies that are shared with team maintenance techs. On call is NOT optional for this position.
Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle
Experienced in routine and plumbing
Experienced in routine and electrical
Experienced in completing efficient unit turn processes
Experienced in carpentry repairs
Must know how to do drywall
Routine and advanced repair work
Able to do grounds work and snow removal
Keep property grounds free of debris, weeding, bush trimming, cleaning around dumpster areas, lake area clean up etc. Anything to be done with property curb appeal and maintenance.
Work alongside Property Manager and maintenance team
Must possess positive attitude and be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Must be organized and able to prioritize.
Knowledge of HVAC, boiler systems.
Installation of hot water tanks and troubleshooting.
Must exhibit attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, cooperation, dependability, a concern for others, integrity, self-control, stress tolerance, good communication skills, troubleshooting.
