About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Value-Based Contracting (VBC) Partnerships to join our network team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. As the Director of VBC Partnerships, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development and execution of value-based care contracting arrangements with various provider groups. You will lead a team of professionals to identify and implement strategies that drive growth and improve member outcomes. Your ultimate goal will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with key provider partners, while ensuring that our organization is meeting its financial and quality objectives in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- 7 years of experience in healthcare partnership development and management
- Strong understanding of value-based care models and payment structures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- Experience with data analytics and reporting
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- Experience working with government payers and/or large health systems
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing complex partnership agreements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute value-based care partnership arrangements that align with organizational goals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize partnership opportunities
- Lead negotiations and contract development with potential partners
- Manage ongoing relationships with key partners, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
- Monitor and report on partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
