About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Relations Manager to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. As a Vendor Relations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing vendor relationships to ensure the highest quality of service delivery. You will be expected to develop and implement vendor acquisition, manage contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our organization has access to the best possible resources to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Acquisition & Contract Management, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in vendor management or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Acquisition & Contract Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Certification in vendor management or procurement.
- Experience with vendor management software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement vendor acquisition to optimize vendor selection and onboarding to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
- Manage contracts with vendors and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient communications across our organization.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements, quality and service standards.
- Analyze vendor data and provide insights to identify areas for improvement and improve vendor performance.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, performance, and compliance.

As a Vendor Relations Manager, you will use your strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with our vendors. You will also use your analytical skills to monitor vendor performance and provide insights to improve their performance.
