The Marketing & Communications Manager will be a critical addition to our growing team. We are looking for a dynamic B2B marketing and communications generalist based in the Sacramento, California area with experience in cleantech, energy, high growth start-ups and/or manufacturing companies. The position reports to our Senior Vice President of Strategy and will have direct interaction with other senior executives. This leadership role will require in-office work in Sacramento 3-4 days/week, along with the potential for some travel throughout the year. 

LOCATION: Infinium headquarters in Sacramento, California 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor strategies, adjusting marketing efforts accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, etc.) to align marketing campaigns with business objectives.
• Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various marketing materials, including blogs, newsletters, website copy, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Write and edit copy for marketing collateral, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and cultivate relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
• Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to secure media coverage, coordinate with company partners PR & Marketing Teams.
• Support the planning and execution of event engagement, including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and internal events.
• Monitor and maintain brand consistency across all channels and marketing materials.
• Support consistent internal communication strategy.
• Manage content contractors as needed including graphic, photo, video, other. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3 - 6 years of B2B client-side marketing and communications in cleantech, energy, renewables, product production, or adjacent fields 
• Start-up or high growth mid-market enterprise experience
• Outstanding written communications skills across content production including social media posts, marketing collateral, press releases, data sheets, video scripts, e-newsletters and sales enablement materials
• Strong PowerPoint skills 
• Demonstrated portfolio of original writing 
• A strong aptitude to learning and ability to distill complex engineering concepts into digestible marketing collateral
• Experience working with brand growth in an emerging or high-growth industry category
• Web copywriting and basic understanding of ‘what good looks like’ for web and digital marketing assets 
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn (our primary social media platform), optimized post structures and analytics
• Familiarity with Marketing ROI and measurement frameworks
• General events management 
• Creative thinking and ideas around how to optimize existing marcom assets
• Successful management of external vendors and freelancers
• Familiarity with Product Marketing concepts and experience developing product-focused collateral
