INFRA is hiring a Growth Manager for our fast moving team. As the Growth Manager you will build and expand INFRA’s membership base through relationship-driven business development strategies. Someone who is a door-opener, a do-er, and is equally great with planning, details, and follow through. In this role, you will help further INFRA’s vision of a sustainable, equitable food system by ensuring that new member needs are understood, and engagement is high. You’ll identify, analyze, and be closely connected to prospects and new members and will use your understanding of their needs to help accomplish maximum Supply Agreement and other program participation. All the while, always listening for how INFRA may improve our offerings going forward.

What you will own and improve:

Membership recruitment leadership 

  • Prospecting trips & member recruiting meetings 
  • New retailer experience ownership – marketing materials, supporting PR, alignment with INFRA voice and tone 
  • Ensure accurate and easily accessible member records, including regular reporting  
  • Partner with marketing & recruitment team to identify marketing content & business development material opportunities 
  • Connect member experience across INFRA, supporting Member Success or Purchasing teams with creation of business development strategies as needed 

Prospecting & growth strategy planning & delivery 

  • Document growth strategy, goals, and approach, developed and executed in alignment with INFRA goals 
  • Identify and report on membership growth goals and KPIs 
  • Consistently strong associate retailer and prospective retailer pool in place   

Market opportunity analysis  

  • Develop a deep understanding and reporting of industry opportunities, including market analysis, gaps, trends, and future changes. 
  • Provide quarterly insights about membership trends 

Maximizing Supply Agreement participation 

  • Oversight of performance, goals, and KPIs of INFRA National Supply Agreement  
  • Partnership to ensure member compliance to participation agreement, including Accounts Receivables, buying requirements, etc 
  • Ensure distributor partners adhere to contract expectations, including participation and preparation for renegotiations or other changes 
  • Plans for innovation, improvement, and updates 
  • Ensure strong collaboration with supply agreement programs and across INFRA, regularly connecting and aligning voices from all areas. 

Team Leadership (LMA) 

  • Project outcomes address INFRA stated goals, including addressing the right issues, at the right times with a focus on member engagement. Alignment on goals is clearly articulated within project plans. 
  • Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, retaining, and professionally growing a diverse team of technology, data, communications, accounting, People & Culture, and administrative professionals.  
  • Leverage strengths of direct and indirect reports through delegation & situational leadership. Ensure clear and measurable goal setting.   
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, development, and innovation within the team and in collaboration across INFRA. environment.  

 

What you already know: 

  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in relationship-driven business development, delivering results and building plans, including alignment to vision, approach, outcomes, budget, and revenue targets 
  • Demonstrated 5 years' experience in the natural foods industry, grocery retail, or equivalent required 
  • Demonstrated experience leading and supervising a professional team, connecting and leading to accomplish ambitious goal attainment 
  • Established experience working with grocery distribution relationships 
  • High emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to accomplish goals by collaborating, communication, and leading through influence. 
  • How to establish and maintain genuine relationships with a wide variety of individuals 
  • How to partner as a forward-looking thinker, who proactively seeks opportunities and proposes collaborative solutions 
  • How to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment, including deriving metrics and analytics to support future planning 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently while achieving optimum results 
  • Technology savvy and forward thinking. Depth of skill with CRMs, Marketing campaigns, data analysis (including experience with SPINS and PowerBI), and Microsoft SharePoint

*US Travel is required for this position, up to 40%. 

*This role is preferred within our INFRA HQ office. Remote eligibility may be possible for current INFRA employees.
