Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Healthcare Aid to join our team. This role is essential in providing quality care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. As a Bilingual Healthcare Aid, you will play a critical role in enhancing patient experiences and ensuring their needs are met.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide basic medical care under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, offering support and information in both English and the second language.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a nursing assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (Spanish preferred).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or moving patients.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
