What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer 3 (B Shift) - Springville position at Innovative Labs?
The packer 3 must fill out the Pre-Operational Checks form and do all checks required before starting the line. The packer 3 is also responsible for doing an AQL of the pallet every hour. Each carton is opened and the packets are checked for various things like missing lot number, dirty packets, leaking packets and packets offset on size. These are recorded on the Quality In Process Pouch Check form. Packer 3 will also be responsible for any forms in addition to the 2 list above at the discretion of management.
Schedule: 3 x 12's. These will rotate between Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for two weeks and then Thursday, Friday and Saturday for two weeks. This is a day shift from 6:00am to 6:30pm.
As a Packer, you will:
- Performs packer duties which is placing correct count of packets in a carton
- Ensures correct lot coding has been used
- Stickering lot code on cartons
- Building cartons
- Stacking cartons on pallets
- Perform packer duties alone for a period of at least an hour
- Fill out Pre-Operational Check Form and Quality In-Process Pouch Check
- Perform an AQL of the pallet every hour checking for missing lot number, dirty packets, leaking packets, and offset on size
- Other duties as assigned
