What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-op/Programmer Analyst, Operating Experience (Spring 2025) position at INPO?

Currently, the INPO Operating Experience department has an intern position that it seeks to fill with high caliber engineering students throughout the year. Ideally, participants in the INPO program enter in their second year of college. Assignments are challenging and build upon the work experience gained. This position is also made available to work on projects in the INPO Data Management and Industry Trends department. Participants gain a perspective of nuclear facility operations and events, regulations, and organizational challenges to supplement the technical knowledge gained through college.
Essential Functions
- Data collection and display: Quarterly performance metrics
- Support for producing operating experience event videos
- Maintaining status on Department Excellence Plans
- Creating and maintaining change management plans
- Setting up and running industry webcasts
- Daily industry status reporting
- Event screening
- Developing operating experience preventable reports
Work Context
- Works under supervision
- Must be able to use hands, arms, ears, and eyes to touch, carry, hear, see
- Must have valid driver’s license
Education
Required
- Enrolled in programs leading to BS in any engineering discipline
Preferred
- Enrolled in Nuclear, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering curriculum.

- Employment is dependent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test
