Electricial Instructor(San Antonio, Texas) - Lamson Institute-
Part-Time and Full-Time positions available
We are seeking candidates with knowledge of electrical principles and methods for curriculum. They will be training / teaching electrical instruction to individuals and groups. You should possess knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, very up-beat personality, and interests; learning and motivational methods. The candidate must have an ability to select and use the right training and instructional methods and procedures when learning or teaching. Minimum requirements are a journeyman’s card and at least 5 years field experience. Prior teaching experience a plus but not required. This is an opportunity to help others become industry professionals.
The Instructor is responsible for providing and sustaining an effective learning environment for every student through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic assessment of learning, clear documentation and feedback on student progress, and support of academic success for all students. The Instructor is responsible for maintenance of professional competence through engagement in documented professional development activities, for engagement in documented faculty development activities that enhance the ability to provide effective instruction and for participation in departmental and campus-wide activities. The Instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Education, Program Director, or his/her designee.

- Industry certification
- Minimum five years of field experience as an electrician or three years with school degree
- Clean MVR and background check.
- Working knowledge of federal/state government education regulations
Hours are:
- Mornings 8am to noon and/or evenings from 5:45pm-10:45pm
- Monday through Thursday. (Varied during Holiday times)
