Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join a top-tier, innovative insurance brokerage. This 100% remote role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area . The position focuses on delivering exceptional service and strategic support to middle-market and large clients, specifically in the real estate, non-profit, and healthcare sectors .

You will be supported by a dedicated Account Manager and Commercial Assistant to handle the day-to-day servicing, allowing you to focus on client relationships and strategic growth.

Location : Northern California (100% Remote)

Compensation & Perks :

Base Salary : $140,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities :

Manage assigned book of business totaling $1.4M in revenue

Develop strategies for retention of accounts at renewal time

Work with clients to gather necessary information for renewal submissions

Participate in presentations to existing and prospective clients

Review clients’ operational, contractual, and financial exposure to loss

Review insurance policies and contracts to ensure adequate coverage

Coordinate with internal teams, including your dedicated Account Manager and Commercial Assistant, to deliver quotes, policy changes, and other essential services

Develop and monitor client service plans in collaboration with claims and loss control teams annually

Prepare stewardship reports with feedback from clients

Manage Account Receivables and facilitate collection of funds from clients

Lead and execute renewal strategies with producers, the team, and clients

Requirements :

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the commercial lines brokerage industry, with a preference for 10 years of experience

Experience with loss-sensitive casualty programs and captive insurance is a plus

Strong knowledge of basic P&C coverages and market trends, particularly in real estate, non-profits, and healthcare sectors

Excellent client relationship and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial modeling

Ability to travel domestically for client meetings and industry conferences as needed

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred

Property & Casualty license preferred
