Pay : $31.20 / hr
Hours : Tuesday-Saturday, 7 PM - 4 AM
Location : Fremont, CA 94538
Overview
Seeking a motivated Technical Service Representative with a background in manufacturing, chemistry, mechanical technician work, or engineering.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
Education
High School graduate or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills
Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities with prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
Proven customer service aptitude and teamwork skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Background in statistical analysis software (Minitab) preferred
Coursework in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a plus
Responsibilities
Support manufacturing and engineering relationships at customer sites.
Maintain communication regarding daily projects and production line issues.
Provide technical direction on product line usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve paint process issues, offering recommendations related to product application, inventory, and operations.
Assist customers with overcoming line problems, gathering data, and providing samples for analysis.
Manage daily paint consumption, invoices, inventory, and ordering processes.
Collect and analyze data related to viscosity, temperature, appearance, and film build, utilizing devices such as Wave Scan.
Report data collection summaries internally and to customers as required. Notify relevant parties of outlier results.
Support monthly plant quality reports for customers, including recommendations on specification and quality ranges.
Assist with demand forecasting, on-site inventory, and product orders.
Coordinate customer projects (LWRs) and test requests, reviewing results with customers as needed.
Travel up to 15% for training, development, and coverage at other locations.
Build relationships across all organizational levels to help deliver value to the team.
