What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Mission Bell Manufacturing?
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for document management, schedule control, submittal management and finishes management. The Project Coordinator assists the Project Managers in communicating with our end customers and ensuring our projects align to budget and schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (this is a sample list; other duties may be added):
- First level management of job schedule and verifying status of work orders against the job schedule
- Consistent communication with both Project Manager and the Assistant PM
- Submit samples to the customer and track approval process
- Submit shop drawings to the customer, track approval process
- Reviewing upcoming work orders with the PM and APM
- Maintain the updated set of architectural drawings
- Manage all documents related to the job
- Process RFIs
- Submit closeout documents at the completion of projects
- Maintain change order logs within our internal systems and Procore tracking, log documentation from the field to our office and to the client
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience as a Project Coordinator, Document Manager, or similar position
- Previous experience with a construction company is highly desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience in Bluebeam software is highly desired
- Computer learning agility; must be able to learn new programs quickly
- Great communication skills
- Ability to quickly establish good working relationships
- Experience with Procore software is highly desired
