What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transitional Living Program Residential Counselor position at Integral Youth Services?
The Residential Counselor will work under the supervision of the Programs Manager and work as a team with the Case Manager. The Residential Counselor will develop a trusting relationship with the residents and assist them in the following; Transition to living independently, Develop effective strategies and life skills to work towards individual personal goals, Provide overall personal support, and assist with the navigation of daily stressors.
The Residential Counselor will document case notes and Incident Reports. Help the residents follow through on their daily schedules and budgets.
Must have Drivers license and 3 years Driving experience.
Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check.
Must be able to pass a Drug test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
