Manufacturing Technician II

Shift: M-F 9-5

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manufacture next-generation sequencing library preparation reagents and kits according to defined protocols.

• Maintain clean room manufacturing facilities and equipment.

• Maintain and monitor production freezers and equipment.

• Document work in concordance with quality system guidelines.

• Uses ERP and Microsoft Office Suite software to efficiently document material manufacturing and utilization accurately.

• Assist with physical inventory processes and movement of product.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes.

• Assist other departments as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Experience with laboratory equipment including multichannel pipettes, repeating pipettes, and centrifuges.

• Experience handling enzymes, DNA, and RNA

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 or ability to adhere strictly to defined protocols and procedures

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or chemistry
• Familiar with Next Generation Sequencing technologies.
• Familiar with ERP systems, including entering transactions and completing production orders

The hourly range for this role is 21-24. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
